About the role
- Formulate and execute a sales strategy that results in revenue growth in both new and existing accounts.
- Consistently identify, prospect, qualify, and develop sales pipeline through outreach strategies and SDR collaboration.
- Manage a book of business: renewals and identify expansion/opportunity within install base.
- Build and nurture relationships; guide prospects through discovery, Proof-of-Concept, contract negotiation, and close with multiple stakeholders.
- Create proposals to convert prospects to ScyllaDB Enterprise and ScyllaDB Cloud customers.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date forecast and funnel; exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual quota.
- Collaborate with Marketing on seminars, trade shows, and other events.
- Communicate and collaborate with VP of Sales and Customer Success to ensure adoption, retention, and expansion of ScyllaDB.
Requirements
- Has sold NoSQL database technology to IT with Infrastructure teams.
- Knowledge of Open Source and cloud technologies is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience selling B2B enterprise technology
- Fluency in Portuguese required
- Professional proficiency in Spanish preferred
- Preferred location - Miami
- Has existing IT/Enterprise Architecture/Business Rolodex/relationships in the patch they currently reside and sell to
- Goal-oriented, track record of overachievement (President’s Club, Rep of the Quarter/Year)
- Experienced with complex sales methodologies, ideally MEDDPICC
- Ability to document in Salesforce crm
- Excellent analytical and communication skills
- Comfortable with outbound pipeline generation and hunter mentality
