About the role

  • Develop and lead or co-lead highly complex projects, creating mid-term plans that impact results
  • Leverage relationships to meet the needs of various business units and serve as an advisor
  • Make decisions on complex problems, identify innovative solutions, and recommend courses of action
  • Act independently on self-initiated projects, exercising judgment in complex decisions
  • Review work for effectiveness and business impact and evaluate the work of colleagues
  • Develop and implement reimbursement strategies and programs to secure coverage, coding, and payment from providers
  • Collaborate proactively with Health Economic staff to assess the economic impact of therapies and products on payers, including government entities
  • Influence management and senior staff decisions and support resolution of complex problems
  • Contribute to business impact through effective project leadership and strategic decision-making

Requirements

  • BA/BS with at least 8+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated business leadership including experience in strategy development and interaction with customers
  • Knowledge and understanding of health economics and associated skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects organizationally and workload via strong planning skills
  • Understanding of pricing and market access processes, systems, and environment
  • Strong customer-orientation and ability to work successfully with colleagues across multiple cultures and time-zones
  • Excellent writing and presentation skills in English
  • MBA/MS with at least 7+ years of relevant pharmaceutical experience (nice-to-have)
  • PhD/JD with at least 5+ years of experience (nice-to-have)
  • MD/DVM with at least 4+ years of experience (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in developing and implementing market access strategies (nice-to-have)
  • Experience in health technology assessment and evidence-based medicine review (nice-to-have)
  • Proven track record of successful project management (nice-to-have)
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities including the ability to influence, coach, and oversee colleagues (nice-to-have)
  • Permanent work authorization in the United States required
  • Ability to comply with site Log In For Your Day (LIFYD) requirements (about 2.5 days/week in office)
