About the role
- Manage and represent clients in litigation cases from pre-trial to post-trial, Draft pleadings motions discovery and other legal documents, Participate in depositions mediations and arbitrations, Collaborate closely with senior attorneys to prepare for trials, Provide clients with clear strategic advice on legal matters
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school, Active membership in the California State Bar, 4-7+ years of experience in relevant legal experience, Experience in general liability (auto, premises liability, construction defect) and complex liability matters, Experience in all aspects of litigation including investigation, research, analysis, discovery and motions, Experience taking percipient/party/expert depositions and representing clients in mediations and court hearings, Excellent research and writing skills, Strong communication skills both verbal and written, Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases in a fast-paced environment, Must be licensed to practice law in California and ability to work Pacific Standard Time schedule
