About the role
- Handle all aspects of business and real estate litigation, including legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, discovery, court appearances, and trial preparation
- Handle business and real estate litigation matters such as breach of contract, commercial lease disputes, and partnership disagreements
- Assist with probate, trust, and estate litigation as needed
- Work closely with managing partners and support staff on case strategy and client management
- Participate in case intake, client communications, and negotiations
- Manage multiple cases and deadlines; participate in trial preparation and potential trials
Requirements
- Member of the California Bar and in good standing
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- 4–10 years of litigation experience, ideally with a focus on business and/or real estate matters
- Comfortable managing multiple cases and deadlines
- Team-oriented, proactive, and professional
- Interest in long-term growth within a litigation-focused practice
