About the role
- Facilitate and improve internal development processes.
- Collaborate with leads and directors to manage feature production for our game.
- Oversee development teams and advocate for their needs.
- Work with other producers to establish realistic schedules and mitigate risks and blockers.
- Engage with internal groups during the development process and communicate with the publisher and external vendors.
- Manage cross-disciplinary development teams and represent their needs.
- Work with other producers to create realistic timelines, identify dependencies, and align on priorities.
- Identify potential risks related to different solutions and understand the trade-offs of each option.
- Present options clearly to the Head of Production.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a production role in the games industry (or 7 years in software or 3D animation).
- At least one multi-platform AAA title shipped as a producer.
- Experience managing a team of more than 20 people.
- Outstanding project management and leadership skills.
- Excellent presentation skills for audiences at all levels.
- Deep knowledge of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Good knowledge of rights and licensing.
- Strong negotiation skills and advanced problem-solving and organizational abilities.
- Excellent teamwork and a commitment to fostering strong working relationships within the team.
- Ability to work effectively and productively with people from different specializations and backgrounds.
- Ability to work effectively with people from diverse specializations and backgrounds.
- High work ethic and self-motivation.
- Passion for games.
- Experience with Jira and Confluence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience in advanced planning.
- Advanced experience with Agile/PM methodologies — proactive planning of team rituals.
- Experience in end-to-end development of multidisciplinary features.
- Management of multiple producers (up to 3) and teams of 50–75 people.
- 3+ years' experience managing partner, client, and/or consumer relationships.
- Ability to understand the big picture, liaise across teams, and work in the best interest of the project / understand high-level priorities.
- Ability to create a production plan/schedule and execute it to meet established objectives.
- Has delivered a product cycle at this level.
