About the role

  • Administrate all aspects of day to day testing operations in assigned Pearson Professional Centers
  • Provide day-to-day team leadership to ensure adherence to strict operational policies and examination procedures
  • Recognize and identify potential improvement areas and act as go-to person at the test center when Regional Manager is not available
  • Assure equipment is operational and test stations are free of extraneous materials
  • Review transmission logs and work with VSS technical support to investigate and fix technical issues
  • Perform daily site opening and closing and help ensure a clean, professional, quiet testing atmosphere
  • Review test roster and prepare for candidates including special accommodation preparation
  • Check in candidates and verify identifications; escort examinees to assigned test stations
  • Help examinees begin the tutorial/test and answer questions before the timed portion begins
  • Monitor examinees and record/report all problems or discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Print the test results after the candidate completes the test
  • Ensure adherence to Pearson Professional Center quality and security measures and identify areas for policy/procedure improvements
  • Screen Test Administrator job applicants, review TA timesheets and staffing schedules, assist with training and coaching new hires
  • Serve as contact point for building management, site security, deliveries and vendors and escalate to Regional Manager when appropriate

Requirements

  • Five year customer service experience required
  • Exposure in a testing environment strongly preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Windows applications required
  • Customer service skills required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to communication both technical and functional
  • Ability to work independently
