Engineering Manager

• Build & Scale the Team: Own the engineering hiring pipeline, recruit top talent, and mentor early engineers to establish a high-performing, ownership-driven culture.
• Execute Hands-On: Contribute directly to the frontend/backend codebase to accelerate velocity, unblock others, and model engineering best practices.

• Build recruiting processes, reporting, and systems to scale with the company

• Build tools, automations, and products used by portfolio founders and Pear's investment and platform teams
• Identify opportunities to save founders and investors time through better tools and automation
• Translate needs into simple, impactful workflows
• Build solutions with minimal maintenance overhead
• Choose the right approach: buy existing software, use low-code/no-code tools, or build from scratch
• Work side-by-side with early-stage founders and gain exposure to how different startups operate
• Ship real products and iterate quickly in a small-team environment

Engineering Fellow

• Contribute to our core agent (and test it on your own network use cases)
• Use prompt engineering and fine-tuning with foundation LLMs
• Contribute everywhere and own technical decisions (ex new design pattern, architect agent development)

Founding Engineer

Designer

• Own the design function end-to-end—shape product experience, refine brand identity, and set design culture
• Work closely with founders, engineers, and legal experts to craft intuitive interfaces for complex AI workflows
• Lead design for product and brand—own UI/UX, visual identity, and marketing materials
• Translate complex legal AI workflows into simple, intuitive user experiences
• Partner with engineers to prototype, test, and ship AI-native interfaces at speed

• Design and scale production-grade agents that perform legal tasks with expert-level reasoning
• Build and deploy agentic systems using Python to automate, evaluate, and scale end-to-end legal workflows
• Rapidly prototype, evaluate, integrate, and test new product features in close partnership with customers and legal team
• Develop new AI native workflows: implement streaming, long-running tasks, procedural UX, and balance state-of-the-art with pragmatism

Account Executive

• Source, run, and close mid-to-enterprise SaaS deals ($50K–$250K ARR)
• Manage full-cycle sales: prospecting, demos, negotiation, close
• Own the full sales cycle and hit quota
• Work cross-functionally with RevOps, marketing, and product
• Drive pipeline and contribute to a strong sales culture
• Work on-site in Boston 5 days a week and collaborate with GTM leadership
