Product Manager

• **The Role**
• As Product Manager you will own one or more cross-functional, autonomous product development teams focused on a clear business mission and will be responsible for the successful execution of a product vision by delivering value to our customers. As a product leader, you will be responsible for working with executive leadership and the other team leads to research, define and then execute a cohesive solution within the broader product strategy and company vision. Your firsthand experience in the weight room — and ideally on the coaching side of the platform — will be your sharpest tool for making the right product decisions.
• **Core Functions:**
• - Own the product roadmap for your team, aligning to company strategy and driving measurable business outcomes.
• - Be the final decision-maker on feature development, scope, and quality. Delegate QA within the team and manage a QA strategy based on company best practices and engineering principles.
• - Leverage your coaching and training experience to evaluate feature requests, validate workout programming workflows, and ensure the product serves real-world coaching needs.
• - Represent the coach’s perspective in product decisions, drawing on personal experience with periodization, programming progressions, communication and community development, and athlete management.
• - Facilitate the exchange of ideas across engineering, design, data, and business teams. Bring unbiased input to drive alignment and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• - Work with the data team to define, track, and act on the right metrics. Use a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods to measure success.
• - Understand TrainHeroic’s core customers (coaches, athletes, teams, organizations) and how the platform addresses their distinct needs. Use this understanding to define growth strategy.
• - Advocate for new initiatives that increase our value proposition or expand market reach, providing data-backed arguments for consideration among peers and leadership.
• - Utilize business acumen, with proficiency in identifying, tracking and acting upon metrics, in collaboration with stakeholders in your area of expertise.
• - Advocate for new projects that could increase our value proposition or market reach, and provide unbiased supporting arguments for consideration among peers and leadership.
• - Have a clear picture of the extended competition, know the dynamics and identify the new entrants. Know the differentiation at a strategy level.
• - Understand the core customers and market and how the application addresses differing needs; use this understanding to define a clear growth strategy.

Backend Engineer

• As Software Engineer you will be responsible for creating and supporting backend services that power our products, owning applications from inception through development, test, and release to production.
• You must be flexible and willing to take on whatever responsibilities are needed to regularly ship all of the company’s offerings.
• In this role, you will contribute to our products by developing modular backend code in our frameworks, developing services and improving system scalability; adding new features to APIs; refactoring monolithic code to highly-cohesive, loosely-coupled components; and identifying performance bottlenecks across the entire system.

Software Engineer, Backend C#

Full-stack Engineer

• Create new features and bug fixes for the company site and app
• Collaborate with Product Managers, UX/UI and QA to design and deliver delightful user experiences
• Work with other engineers to improve existing architecture and define new architecture patterns, research and implement tools and processes that enhance quality and increase productivity

Software Engineer – Full Stack

Customer Support

• Directs the Sales and Customer Services departments to exceed monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets across traditional retail, wholesale, and SaaS vertical markets.
• Designs and executes comprehensive promotional strategies and sales programs; establishes KPIs for account teams and maintains accountability for key account performance.
• Architects and oversees the strategic management of Top 100 accounts; fosters executive-level relationships to ensure long-term retention, identifies expansion opportunities, and secures high-value renewals.
• Conducts a comprehensive assessment of the current Sales and Customer Service teams; identifies talent gaps and defines new or evolved roles to align with a modern, scalable organizational structure.
• Architects and implements performance-based compensation plans and incentive structures that align individual motivations with corporate revenue targets.
• Sets and executes the high-level growth strategy while remaining "in the weeds" to build robust revenue forecasting models, sales scripts and playbooks, and CRM workflows from the ground up.
• Evaluates existing workflows across sales and fulfillment; designs and deploys new standard operating procedures (SOPs) to eliminate friction between the front office and the distribution center.
• Partners with the General Manager to develop high-accuracy revenue forecasts, manage departmental budgets, and align sales trajectories with corporate fiscal goals.

• Serves as the final authority on Dealer Policies, including pricing structures, discount tiers, logistics, and return frameworks to ensure healthy margins.
• Acts as the primary brand ambassador at major trade shows and during high-stakes negotiations within key sales territories.
• Orchestrates the Customer Success and Support roadmap to drive world-class engagement and retention; defines KPIs and operational best practices that transform the service department into a proactive growth engine for both B2B and B2C segments focused on Customer Livetime Value (LTV)
• Acts as the strategic liaison between Sales, IT, and Distribution Centers to streamline order flow and troubleshooting. Manager

• Drive revenue growth for Music Brands by owning the end-to-end strategy and oversight of curriculum adoptions, RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs across both MakeMusic and Alfred Music.
• Proactively identify, cultivate, and direct the development of systems that enable competitive, high-quality submissions & educational services.
• Develop and collaborate on the go-to-market playbooks that expand the Music Brands’ presence in K–12 districts.

• Lead the end-to-end negotiation process for renewals and expansions. You have the authority to negotiate pricing, terms, and service levels to secure the most favorable outcomes for the organization.
• Identify and cultivate marketing and co-branding opportunities within your portfolio that provide value beyond direct subscription revenue.
• Proven experience partnering with or working as a coach who utilizes the TrainingPeaks or TrainHeroic platforms to train athletes; must possess the ability to leverage this technical proficiency to provide professional-grade consultation and identify high-value growth opportunities for elite partners.
• Act as a subject matter expert, analyzing industry trends and competitive intelligence to advise your accounts on business transformation and product adoption.
• Collaborate with leadership to forecast revenue and identify growth opportunities within your specific business segment.

• As Manager, Engineering you lead an engineering team within a cross-functional product development team.
• You are responsible for the successful execution and delivery of functionality to our customers.
• You manage all aspects of the software development lifecycle including collaborating with the Product Manager on shaping requirements, project planning, ensuring product quality, and customer delivery.
• You are particularly responsible for driving continuous improvement across the team, through individual performance management, engineering processes, and mentorship of engineers.
• You will sit directly with the MakeMusic Practice Architects Team and work in close collaboration with Product and Customer teams, reporting to the VP, Engineering for Music Brands.
• Creating the environment for your team to be successful through setting and communicating clear goals, ensuring strategic alignment with product and business goals, and driving a collaborative execution style within and outside the team.
• Hire, train, mentor, and lead software engineers on your team in the pursuit of the team’s business goals and engineering excellence.
• Manage and support your team’s performance through continuous feedback, regular reviews, mentorship, and role evaluation.
• Perform annual reviews and recommend promotions and salary adjustments as needed.
• Collaborate openly with other functional managers, helping to identify and pursue inter-team opportunities, address conflicts, and resolve dependencies.
