About the role
- Identify, target, and acquire new vending machine operators and partners across North America.
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to close, including product demos, pricing, proposals, and contract negotiation.
- Build relationships with vending operators, route managers, and equipment suppliers to expand PayRange adoption.
- Leverage industry knowledge to position PayRange as the preferred payment and engagement solution in the market.
- Maintain a strong pipeline and achieve or exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to refine go-to-market messaging specific to the vending industry.
- Provide customer feedback and industry insights to help shape product roadmaps and features tailored to vending.
- Represent PayRange at vending trade shows, association events, and industry forums.
- Partner closely with implementation and support teams to ensure smooth onboarding and customer satisfaction.
- Help operators measure ROI, optimize usage, and expand across additional machines and locations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of direct sales experience selling into the vending machine industry (operators, OEMs, or route-based businesses).
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas in a B2B environment.
- Deep understanding of vending operations, payment systems, and route management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Experience with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Preferred: Experience selling SaaS, payment, or IoT technology solutions.
- Strong industry network and familiarity with key vending trade associations.
- Ability to travel for customer meetings and industry events.
