About the role

  • Establish overall business strategy for BNPL product marketing and influence executive-level decision-making
  • Collaborate with global product development teams, in-country marketing teams, and PayPal's marketing communication channel owners to ensure alignment with market needs
  • Develop insights and conduct market analysis to inform product strategy and positioning
  • Create and refine value proposition narratives tailored to market segments
  • Monitor and analyze competition to identify opportunities and threats
  • Collect and validate customer feedback to guide product development and lead early detection/resolution of customer issues
  • Oversee performance tracking through instrumentation and dashboarding and track marketing effectiveness and budget
  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations for product enhancements
  • Drive the execution of key initiatives and go-to-market strategies and lead regional product marketing initiatives to align with business objectives
  • Ensure products resonate with target audiences and achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of relevant work experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience marketing BNPL (Buy Now Pay Later) products
  • Demonstrated experience in merchant co-marketing with wins or learnings
  • Proven ability to influence stakeholders across commercial, product, and marketing teams
  • Experience influencing executive-level decision-making through strategic insights
  • Experience developing insights and conducting market analysis to inform product strategy and positioning
  • Experience creating and refining value proposition narratives tailored to market segments
  • Experience monitoring and analyzing competition
  • Experience collecting and validating customer feedback to guide product development
  • Experience with performance tracking, instrumentation, and dashboarding
  • Experience translating insights into actionable recommendations and driving go-to-market execution
  • Regional product marketing experience and leading cross-functional initiatives
