About the role
- Evaluate and onboard new chemistry data sources for R&D and market-facing products.
- Analyse data-source content in depth; assess new data providers; define parsing and validation rules; draft clear data requirement specifications.
- Partner with Data Engineering and Data Quality teams to ingest, process and verify data outputs.
- Build and maintain a data quality assessment framework; use customer feedback, data analysis and rule design to drive continuous improvements.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders to deliver data projects, track progress and remove blockers.
- Work closely with engineering and quality teams to raise the bar on data accuracy and usability.
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or higher) in Organic Chemistry, Chemistry or a related discipline.
- 2+ years’ experience in the patent domain and/or nucleic-acid therapeutics (e.g., oligonucleotides) is preferred.
- Familiarity with databases such as SciFinder, Cortellis and STN is an advantage.
- Understanding of text data structures; prior database/information management experience is a plus.
- Clear, structured thinker with strong learning agility; able to grasp business context and goals quickly.
- Excellent communication and delivery discipline.
