• Act as the primary HR Business Partner for North America, supporting leaders across both Toronto and US-based teams
• Own and manage employee relations cases end-to-end, including investigations, performance issues, terminations, and risk mitigation

Senior HR Business Partner

• Support onboarding and offboarding processes for North American employees, including preboarding communications, system setup, and documentation
• Set up new hires in systems like BambooHR and support general HR admin tasks
• Assist with managing our LMS (Learning Management System) - Decebo, including adding users, assigning courses, and tracking completion
• Support the Learning & Development team with uploading training content and organizing learning sessions
• Help track required training (e.g., compliance courses) across teams
• Assist with preparing HR documents, coordinating with payroll, and updating policies as needed
• Support internal communications, including weekly updates and Town Hall coordination
• Keep the Toronto office running smoothly - from snacks and supplies to vendor coordination
• Organize employee events, recognition programs, and engagement initiatives

• Using your incredible communication skills to build brand new relationships between Patsnap and potential clients
• Working closely with an Account Executive, who will mentor and help to develop your sales skills, while you support their activity by creating sales leads and booking their product demonstrations
• Owning your territory and choosing which companies to call and will have the autonomy to be creative with how you introduce Patsnap to prospects
• Learning the necessary tools to be able to succeed in the role; what we ask of you is a can-do attitude and an open mind to learning

Sales Development Representative – Life Sciences

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of 8 Life Sciences sellers, including Account Executives, Senior Account Executives and Account Directors
• Achieve/exceed territory sales plan by achieving the desired new revenue targets through leading your team
• Lead by example by demonstrating sales techniques, get involved in deals, and exhibit the conviction to win using both challenger sales and SPICED framework
• Demonstrate curiosity and take action to understand Patsnap innovation intelligence products and services
• Demonstrate curiosity and constantly learn about the AI, IP and R&D space
• Assist in developing creative sales hooks, messaging, and positioning to win against our competitors
• Actively participate in customer, product, and industry related events while sharing learnings with the sales team
• Prepare and execute regular 1 on 1 coaching and team meetings to communicate, align, and motivate
• Adopt the highest standard to attract and recruit the best sales talent while having a clear strategy to retain top performers
