About the role

  • Hybrid role based two days/week in our Colombo office.
  • Support the Sri Lankan division of ParentPay Group and work closely with the Managing Director on HR operations, recruitment plans and budgets.
  • Involved in the full employee lifecycle from recruitment to onboarding to offboarding.
  • Lead and manage recruitment & onboarding: end-to-end hiring process, onboarding and exits.
  • Manage HR operations: employee records, medical insurance, attendance, ID cards, and general HR queries.
  • Oversee employee engagement & development: training, career pathing, succession planning, social/engagement events, and salary benchmarking.
  • Manage administration & office operations: day-to-day office operations, facilities, memberships and supervise the Admin Executive.
  • Ensure compliance & policies: execute HR guidelines, policies, and align with Group HR.
  • Collaborate with recruitment agencies, HR partners, and Group teams in Sri Lanka and the UK for HR, budget, and reporting requirements.
  • Handle communication & employer branding: LinkedIn/social pages, job postings, internal communications, and marketing materials.

Requirements

  • Qualification in HR, Business Administration, or related field; professional HR certifications preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR experience, ideally in the tech/IT sector.
  • Proven ability to design and implement new HR processes and procedures.
  • Experience working in international environments, with strong cross-cultural awareness and flexibility across time zones.
  • Solid understanding of HR practices, labour laws, and compliance requirements in Sri Lanka.
  • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
