About the role
- Spearhead and manage comprehensive compensation and benefits programs across a designated region.
- Lead and engage a team of Compensation and Benefits specialists to ensure execution of global and in-country Compensation, Benefits, and Retirement programs across the region.
- Build and maintain standardized processes, creating comprehensive process documents, maps, and standard operating procedures to ensure efficiency and consistency.
- Proactively identify trends in escalations, measure SLAs and KPIs using data and analytics, and recommend process improvements or policy adjustments to enhance service delivery.
- Serve as the final escalation point for high-impact or sensitive employee benefits inquiries and act as a liaison between team members, vendors, HR teams, and leadership.
- Partner with HR leaders through regular interlocks to track progress and performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide data-driven insights on compensation and benefits costs, compliance considerations, and evolving employee expectations.
- Ensure alignment with the broader Total Rewards Center of Excellence and identify ways to enhance the employee value proposition.
- Maintain compliance with local laws and policies, adhering to data protection and privacy laws.
- Partner with the Knowledge team to develop and maintain HR knowledge articles, communicate process changes, and strengthen process knowledge for the HR community, managers, and employees related to Total Rewards.
- Champion employee interests while balancing organizational needs and deliver a top-tier service experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in global Total Rewards management, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Experience managing vendors and vendor relationships.
- Strong understanding of Global Total Rewards principles, practices, and trends.
- Deep knowledge of multi-country tax, compensation, and regulatory environments.
- Proven track record in executing global Total Rewards programs, including pay and performance cycles, benefits and retirement program administration, reporting, and compliance.
- In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal regulations related to compensation and benefits.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional, geographically dispersed virtual teams.
- Expertise in managing and leading changes within an organization, including the ability to communicate effectively and gain buy-in from stakeholders.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, and build high-performance teams.
- Ability to work with all levels of partners, adapt quickly to changing priorities and business needs, and influence to build consensus.
- Proven ability to learn and grasp concepts quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems, compensation software, and other relevant technology tools.
- Strong communicator with problem-solving abilities and exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Preferred: Exposure to Latin America programs.
- Preferred: Experience in organizational design.
- Preferred: Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives.
