Business Development Rep

• Leads business development efforts for Palmetto Finance residential solar business in the East region
• Manages a team of Relationship Managers who support EPCs in the East region
• Provides training, mentorship, and coaching to Relationship Managers, fostering a high performance culture with clear expectations, accountability, and continuous development

Director, Business & Account Development

Account Manager

• Manage the support and processing ecosystem surrounding Palmetto’s financial products as the Relationship Manager for the LightReach platform
• Act as a servant leader working directly with stakeholders to ensure smooth processes surrounding all financial product transactions
• Become a LightReach portal and financial product expert and answer partner questions
• Establish and maintain regular cadence of communication and execution of deliverables with Certified Installer leaders and reps
• Proactively visit key partners onsite to build and maintain strong relationships
• Coordinate and prioritize with internal colleagues to smooth out friction points or blockers relating to milestones, platform functionality, or LightReach product knowledge

Location: This position will be based in Charlotte, NC (preference) or remotely.
Summary of Role: The Senior Product Manager will accelerate the deployment of hundreds of thousands of clean energy assets as Palmetto ushers in the clean energy revolution. They will drive end-to-end product strategy and execution for a market segment of Palmetto Capital’s clean energy consumer financing Business Unit and have product ownership of key technical components of our origination and servicing platform supporting all our market segments. This includes developing products, services, and solutions that enable Palmetto to integrate with external platforms to drive growth and seize marketshare, efficiently underwrite and onboard customers to build robust portfolios of energy assets, drive value and satisfaction for our customers, and execute capital market transactions including public market securitizations. Given Palmetto Capital’s growth, rapid diversification, and large market opportunity, this role will require an entrepreneurial mindset with a strong, relentless ability to influence across the organization to get things done. This role reports to the VP of Product of Palmetto Capital and will have direct relationships with business, product, and engineering leaders across the company.
Strategic & Tactical: Partner closely with the VP of Product to drive the Palmetto Capital BU forward by identifying, defining, and building meaningful solutions that: Provide direct customer value and ensure enduring customer satisfaction; Drive growth in our core solar + storage financing products; Diversify our financing products into new markets and asset classes; Efficiently scale our platform to drive revenue without commensurate cost; Ensure the quality of our assets and portfolios. Develop the Palmetto Capital product strategy and supporting roadmap in line with the Palmetto Capital BU strategy and Palmetto’s broader company vision. Develop and be accountable for OKRs that tie your team’s work to measurable outcomes that ladder to key BU and company objectives. Manage and prioritize the product backlog, partner with engineering to effectively groom stories to ensure planning and execution efficiency and predictable velocity. Measure release impacts and outcomes, evolving product strategy and tactics accordingly. Exercise strong product and business judgment, understanding company and industry context, educating colleagues, and holding a balanced perspective on risks, rewards, and execution. Gain a deep understanding of Palmetto Capital’s customer segments (e.g., capital providers, installers, end consumers, etc), their daily lives, needs, opportunities and value drivers through regular research, testing, and analysis. Partner closely with engineering, data, and design to create systems and team muscle memory that enable ample discovery, strong problem definition and opportunity mapping, rapid concept testing and validation, outcome-based and iterative delivery, and metricing and learning. Forge strong bonds with key internal business stakeholders (operations, business development, servicing, etc) and technology partners (Business Systems, Platform, Data, Devices, Asset Management, Consumer, etc) to formulate new, innovative ideas to enhance our platform and coordinate and enable solutions across multiple systems and segments. • The Manager, Capital Markets will be responsible for capital markets activities spanning across capital raising, execution, and modeling work to support the advancement of those opportunities.
• Focus on developing and executing Excel financial models to support Tax Equity and Debt capital funding

• Technical PM role on the Platform Product team supporting Data Products that deliver device data, energy modeling, and insights.
• Reinforce and evolve the platform foundation; scale and refine device data critical to Palmetto’s business.
• Partner with engineering, product, operations, customer support, and financial stakeholders; join a tenured engineering team with deep energy data expertise.

Director

• Lead the company-wide analytics vision and roadmap to support business goals, product development, and customer experience; Help define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and long-term analytics goals
• Oversee development of advanced dashboards and reports for the ongoing analysis and monitoring of our BUs, products, partners, markets, KPIs, OKRs, and other initiatives; Conduct ad-hoc analysis with rapid delivery to support key tactical decisions

Sr. Director, Data & Analytics

Field Engineer

• Provide onsite troubleshooting and repair of solar systems.
• Document visit and complete job close out report.
• Schedule site visits directly with the customer when required.
• Work with local field teams and central scheduling to optimize resolution times.
• Provide feedback to field team leadership, driving continuous improvement of Palmetto’s installation quality and execution.
• Assist with close out of pre-energization issues, ensuring customer projects are expertly executed and ready to generate power from Day 1 of permission to operate.
• Provide feedback to Palmetto’s Customer Experience team, working together to ensure Palmetto’s resolution of system issues provide not just satisfaction, but an experience they will brag about to their friends and family.
• Complete other tasks as needed, including but not limited to physical site surveys, inspections, and document collection.
• Be the key Palmetto field representative to deliver great quality, experience and performance of all Service and Installation work.
• Effectively communicate with homeowners on arrival times and confirmations on an as-needed basis.
