About the role
- Report to the Amazon Marketing Lead and support Packt’s paid performance and merchandising on Amazon
- Plan and execute monthly Amazon paid campaigns (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display)
- Manage setup, optimisation, and monitoring of Amazon PPC campaigns
- Adjust bids, budgets, and targeting to improve performance and report on CTR, CVR, ACoS, TACoS
- Brief and coordinate creatives (ad visuals, copy, A+ content, Store assets) for campaigns
- Support test-and-learn initiatives including keyword optimisation, targeting strategies, and creative variation
- Plan and set up participation in Amazon discount campaigns (Black Friday, Prime Day, Lightning Deals, themed promotions)
- Coordinate nomination sheets, unit limits, and discount tiers with publishing Verticals
- Monitor promotion approvals in Vendor Central and liaise with Amazon to resolve visibility or delivery issues
- Refresh and optimise Packt’s Amazon Storefront; measure impact on traffic and conversion
- Pull and analyse campaign, traffic, and conversion reports to provide actionable insights
- Share learnings and recommendations to inform wider Amazon marketing strategy
- Act as a key contact for liaising with Amazon on promotions, product pages, and campaign delivery
Requirements
- Hands-on experience managing Amazon PPC campaigns (Sponsored Products, Brands, Display)
- Ability to plan, launch, and monitor advertising campaigns with performance optimisation
- Experience coordinating Amazon discount promotions (Lightning Deals, Best Deals, themed campaigns)
- Knowledge of Amazon Storefront updates and merchandising improvements
- Strong analytical skills to interpret campaign and conversion data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data reporting
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Detail-oriented and data-driven marketer experienced with paid advertising and discount promotions
- Comfortable working with performance data, spotting trends, and turning insights into recommendations
- Strong oral and written communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent organisation and time-management
- Proactive in troubleshooting and problem-solving; upbeat, enthusiastic, motivated; demonstrated self-starter
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and work across teams
- (Good-to-have) Familiarity with Amazon Marketing Cloud or other advanced analytics tools
- (Good-to-have) Experience in running A/B tests (ads, storefronts, or promotions)
- (Good-to-have) Knowledge of publishing, eCommerce, or digital learning industries
- (Good-to-have) Ability to work autonomously while following strategic direction
- (Good-to-have) Interest in combining paid marketing, discount campaigns, and merchandising to drive growth
