Director, Software Product Management

Field Engineer

• Scheduling tasks at a customer’s job sites
• Troubleshooting issues, quickly and effectively, using technical drawings and documentation
• Work cross-functionally with R&D, Software and Quality Engineering teams
• Performing routine maintenance and emergency services as they arise
• Analyze customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) to identify new or ongoing machine performance issues resulting in problem-solving and machine maintenance
• Continuous learning, including the customer’s operational processes, packaging designs, technical specifications
• Installation of Packsize solutions and training others to use and maintain it
• Basic clerical and administrative duties, including timely reading and responding to emails, preparing and submitting expense reports, making travel arrangements, writing detailed technical reports, etc.
• Responsively and productively communicate information and ideas with Packsize and customer’s personnel so they will understand
• Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
• Adhere to all Packsize and customer’s safety requirements, and safety protocols related to exposed moving parts and electricity

Resident Service Engineer

• Install, configure and maintain Packsize equipment solutions onsite at customer facilities
• Troubleshoot issues using technical drawings and documentation
• Perform routine maintenance and emergency services
• Analyze customer Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) for machine performance issues
• Deliver customer training on product capabilities and maintenance
• Communicate effectively with Packsize and customer personnel
• Adhere to safety requirements and protocols

Resident Service Engineer – Weekend Shift

Operations

• Conduct safety visits, audits, and GEMBA walks at customer sites across Europe.
• Assist with the standardization of safety programs to ensure alignment with Packsize’s global safety standards.
• Coach and mentor Field Service Engineers on safe work practices including LOTO, machine safeguarding, working at heights, and material handling.
• Lead or support incident and near-miss investigations and ensure corrective actions are implemented and closed.
• Develop and maintain task-based risk assessments and standardized safe work procedures (SOPs) for field service activities.
• Serve as the regional point of contact for the Velocity EHS safety management system, ensuring timely reporting of incidents, hazards, inspections, and corrective actions.
• Partner with German Works Councils on safety-related topics, initiatives, and consultation requirements.
• Collaborate with customers and internal leaders to meet site safety expectations and continuously improve performance.
• Support contractor management requirements by developing Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs) and partnering with internal stakeholders.

Infrastructure Engineer

• Architecting, implementing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and resilient network solutions across Azure cloud and on-premises environments.
