Database Administrator

• Architect, design, engineer, and document database servers and associated infrastructure in clustered, stand-alone, and/or appliance-hosted configurations
• Perform all Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) hardening and configurations for all STIGs that apply to the system hosting the Database
• Lead STIG assessments to ensure the system is hardened to the required level
• Sustain fleet of physical and virtual database-hosting servers running a mix of operating systems (Open Systems and Windows Systems)
• Build, configure, and sustain database server clusters
• Perform daily operations, onsite support, and on-call support for all aspects of database architecture, database platforms, and database management software
• Perform optimization and performance testing, working with both physical and virtual servers and/or appliances, and provides expert-level troubleshooting and technical support for all incidents and issues
• Work with original equipment manufacturers and/or third-party vendors to resolve performance degradations and outages
• Plan, execute, and document server specification changes
• Support and participate in projects relating to the move of systems and services to modernized hosting environments and Cloud capabilities

Manager

• The Change Manager is responsible for operational readiness and the safe deployment of technical and process initiatives as defined by organizational goals and objectives.
• This position assists the customer with managing all aspects of change associated with system implementations, technology upgrades, and business process modifications.
• This includes oversight and leadership of all change control and project team activities.
• The primary responsibility will be creating and implementing change management processes, strategies, and plans that maximize system stability while minimizing operational disruption.
• The Change Manager will work with the program management team and technical leaders to ensure the successful testing, deployment, and implementation of changes that impact the organization, ensuring benefit realization and the achievement of operational outcomes.
• Design, develop, and implement change control processes, strategies, and release plans.
• Supervise execution of activities related to change implementation and system/operational readiness.
• Manage resolution of potential technical, process, or deployment conflicts.
• Communicate and coordinate with technical stakeholders on change initiative progress, requirements, and deployment schedules to ensure operational readiness.
• Work with process teams to ensure new design elements are properly documented, tested, and incorporated into release schedules.
• Perform change impact analysis identifying potential system, operational, and project risks.
• Identify and anticipate deployment challenges and/or technical conflicts; develop risk mitigation plans by completing change readiness assessments.
• Coordinate initiatives to ensure system configurations, policies, and business practices are aligned prior to technical deployments.
• Manage change requests (CRs) and rollout activities within the Change Control/Release Roadmap.
• Facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and deliver deployment briefings as required.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the customer at technical and operational levels.
• Ensure timely and high-quality deliverables.
• Assist with the development of a detailed implementation plan and integration of the Change Control plan into the overall project plan.

Change Manager

Cloud Engineer

• Create a well-informed cloud strategy and manage the end-to-end migration process
• Identify top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the organization
• Build new cloud architecture designs to support master planning initiatives
• Validate and synchronize cloud architecture plans with other United States Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) architecture teams
• Ensure alignment of Program Team plans and deliverables to the Government’s overarching architecture
• Develop Cloud Engineering and Implementation Plans (EIPs) and present innovative solutions to leadership

• Serve as the overall implementation lead for the implementation of the PeopleSoft Financial module (FSCM).
• Work with the customer to define functional requirements and develop a PeopleSoft FSCM design.
