About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

responsible for planning, building, maintaining, expanding, and implementing technical duties in support of Hanford’s Enterprise Architecture initiatives
conduct comprehensive reviews of solution architectures against specified requirements, perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation strategies as needed
evaluate and propose new technologies and assess the current technology environment to understand limitations and constraints
design data solutions that comply with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and industry standards
plan data movement through systems, ensuring accessibility and compliance with data privacy laws
design data solutions which are compatible with various AI engines to support AI related functions
ensure solutions are maintainable, have high uptime, and are easy to modify and update
establish clear communication and coordination among stakeholders, developers, and teams
provide technical guidance, support & mentoring for data-related projects across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's Degree and 15 or more years of IT related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
ability to pass a background and drug screening
must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire
must be able to obtain Department of Energy access badge
