About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • responsible for planning, building, maintaining, expanding, and implementing technical duties in support of Hanford’s Enterprise Architecture initiatives
  • conduct comprehensive reviews of solution architectures against specified requirements, perform risk analysis, and develop mitigation strategies as needed
  • evaluate and propose new technologies and assess the current technology environment to understand limitations and constraints
  • design data solutions that comply with organizational policies, compliance requirements, and industry standards
  • plan data movement through systems, ensuring accessibility and compliance with data privacy laws
  • design data solutions which are compatible with various AI engines to support AI related functions
  • ensure solutions are maintainable, have high uptime, and are easy to modify and update
  • establish clear communication and coordination among stakeholders, developers, and teams
  • provide technical guidance, support & mentoring for data-related projects across the organization

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's Degree and 15 or more years of IT related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
  • proven work experience as a Data Architect, Data Scientist, Data Analyst or similar role
  • ability to pass a background and drug screening
  • must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at time of hire
  • must be able to obtain Department of Energy access badge
