About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the technical infrastructure that includes hardware, software, and cloud service provider components
Map the relationship between IT platform/Infrastructure components
Identify key technology interactions and dependencies across systems/platforms
Investigate and analyze problems to identify root causes and ensure timely resolution
Design and implement system monitoring and performance optimization solutions
Design, implement, and maintain backup strategies
Maintain security and integrity controls
Prepare written technical documentation, training material, standards, and reports
Evaluate and recommend procurements of hardware and software
Support Disaster Recovery/Continuity of Operations (DR/COOP) exercises

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree with 5 or more years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Ability to pass a background and drug screening
Must have identification compliant with the Real ID Act at the time of hire
Must be able to obtain Department of Energy PIV badge
Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance
Experience with Identity Management with products, such as Entra ID, OKTA, and Ping Identity
Knowledge with Active Directory, ADFS, Group Policy Management, Identity Management, AZURE ecosystem, Zero Trust principles
