Primary contact for all aspects of OrganOx commercial business in assigned territory
Field-based, customer-facing role interacting at multiple levels and requiring total hospital account management skills and business acumen
Ensure sales targets are met or exceeded and generate/follow-up on sales leads
Understand market needs, establish strong customer relationships, and communicate product value
Work closely with matrix team to develop strategies to promote products to medical professionals, hospital administrators, and other stakeholders
Implement and execute launch strategies, provide product introductions and in-services for customers
Complete territory analysis and identify key target accounts
Monitor competition and share information with marketing team
Build relationships daily with multiple customers within an account and manage supply/inventory communication
Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and recommending solutions to management
Support market development efforts to increase patient availability for treatment
Support execution of education programs for physicians and other health professionals to accelerate adoption
Foster and maintain strong customer relationships via professionalism and presentations (virtual and in-person)
Work cohesively with Clinical Specialists, marketing, medical, leadership, and matrix team to meet customer needs
Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to represent the company
Routine air and overnight travel (up to 80%); must reside within Dallas, Houston, or Austin area and be within 45 minutes of a major airport hub
Requirements
The ability to showcase a high level of clinical aptitude with thorough understanding of the liver transplant disease space, clinical studies, and medical device product
Ability to prioritize and comfortably manage a large geography requiring routine air travel and overnights
An entrepreneurial mindset displaying a high degree of resourcefulness, ingenuity, and personal credibility
Excellent presentation skills both virtually and in front of a live audience
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with active listening skills to uncover unmet needs
Having a sense of urgency and ability to work in a high stress environment in which daily responsibilities/locations are not routine
Strong attention to detail

A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a business or a medically related field
Minimum of five years of sales experience in the medical device or transplant industry, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
Minimum of five years of sales experience related to hospital total account management
Deep understanding of the medical device market, preferably with experience in organ transplantation
Proven ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
A high degree of professionalism, integrity, and ethical behavior
Ability and willingness to travel extensively (80% of the time)

The Pay Range for this position is $130,000 - $140,000 annually
