Account Executive

• We are looking for an ambitious Enterprise Account Executive to help build and scale Optiml’s UK business.
• This is a high-growth, high-upside role for someone who wants more than a conventional sales job.
• You will combine enterprise sales with strategic business development: creating new pipeline, opening complex organisations, developing trusted senior relationships, building bespoke commercial cases and closing new customers.
• Your ownership continues beyond signature.
• You will help set customers up for successful onboarding and delivery, identify expansion opportunities and support strong renewals.
• That breadth gives you direct influence over revenue quality, customer outcomes and how Optiml builds its UK go-to-market motion.
• The role offers substantial performance-based earning potential.

Enterprise Account Executive – Business Development

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Onboarding & user enablement for investment-side personas
• Lead onboarding of asset managers, fund managers, transaction managers, and related user groups into Optiml.
• Independently train users on how to use the platform in their specific workflows, not only on product functionality.
• Translate Optiml into role-specific use cases such as asset strategy, business planning, Capex prioritization, portfolio steering, transaction support, and investment committee preparation.
• Help users understand what inputs matter, how to work with assumptions, and how to interpret outputs credibly.
• Workflow application & customer guidance
• Act as a trusted day-to-day advisor for client users after sale, especially for financial and investment-related use cases.
• Support customers in applying Optiml to real decisions and internal processes, not just in navigating the interface.
• Guide customers through workflow questions, interpretation challenges, and practical application of outputs in their role.
• Help make Optiml useful for the realities of institutional real estate investment teams.
• Delivery support & value realization
• Partner with Delivery, Customer Success, and Commercial colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding and early value realization.
• Support implementation and training processes with a strong focus on usability, adoption, and decision relevance.
• Help ensure that customers move from contract signature to first meaningful use quickly and with confidence.
• Identify risks to adoption, user confidence, and satisfaction early, and help resolve them proactively.
• Customer feedback loop into Product
• Capture recurring user questions, workflow friction, interpretation issues, and feature requests from customers.
• Translate customer-side workflow needs into clear internal feedback for Product and Delivery teams.
• Help the company understand where the software works well for fund, asset, and transaction workflows and where it needs to improve.
• Contribute to making Optiml more intuitive, more explainable, and more relevant for institutional real estate users over time.
• Internal enablement & thought partnership
• Become one of the company's strongest internal experts on how investment-side real estate users think, decide, and work.
• Help Commercial, Delivery, and Product teams understand what great adoption looks like for asset managers and fund managers.
• Contribute to playbooks, onboarding materials, training assets, and customer-facing guidance that make the role more scalable over time.

Solution Consultant – Asset Management, Investment Workflows

• Create qualified enterprise pipeline in Germany / DACH independently by building senior access across asset managers, fund managers, banks, insurers, consultants, large owners, and other institutional real estate stakeholders
• Build Optiml's credibility in the German real estate market as the trusted category leader in Real Estate Decision Intelligence
• Run senior commercial conversations and Optiml demos without Product support in standard sales situations, adapting the narrative by persona, asset type, use case, and maturity level
• Convert complex, non-standard opportunities into closed ARR by managing discovery, value case, stakeholder alignment, mutual action plans, commercial scope, procurement, and contracting
• Own the account until Delivery takeover, ensuring expectations, use case, stakeholder map, success criteria, requirements, risks, and implementation assumptions are clear
• Feed German / DACH market insight back into GTM and Product, especially around buyer objections, regulatory drivers, partner routes, pricing, and repeatable use cases

Backend Engineer

• Strengthen Optiml’s backend and data architecture by identifying and solving the highest-leverage technical bottlenecks across the platform.
• Raise engineering standards and execution velocity by mentoring the team, improving system design practices, and driving clarity on trade-offs.
• Build scalable, robust systems that support Optiml’s transition from early-stage product to scale-up infrastructure.
• Contribute directly to critical backend systems and data pipelines as a hands-on IC, delivering high-impact technical outcomes.
• Shape technical direction and prioritisation by working closely with Product and leadership to align engineering efforts with business impact.
• Own and evolve backend architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability as the product grows.
• Drive system design decisions across data pipelines, services, and infrastructure.
• Act as a strong IC contributing directly to core backend systems and data-intensive applications.
• Mentor engineers and elevate overall team capability through reviews, feedback, and hands-on guidance.

Tech Lead – Backend Focus

Infrastructure Engineer

• Set infrastructure direction: identify the highest-leverage problems, scope projects, and drive the team to solve them.
• Collaborate and implement new features in the codebase (Python + Typescript) that touch the core infrastructure (e.g. RBAC, Job Queues)
• Own and operate Optiml's GCP infrastructure (Cloud Run, networking, IAM, TLS, and firewall rules)
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and developer experience.
• Own and push to simplify the release process end-to-end: staging, E2E tests, QA, production deployment, rollbacks, and communication.
• Run on-call and incident response: manage rotations, enforce severity processes, and ensure uptime.
• Partner with IT/Security on vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and infrastructure hardening.
• Close documentation gaps and improve observability & monitoring.
