About the role
- Lead development of bidding UX, intelligence, and reporting capabilities for OpenX's emerging direct media activation product.
- Execute continuous customer discovery to prioritize crucial customer pain points and develop the right solutions.
- Deliver detailed product requirements that meet customer and developer expectations.
- Collaborate consistently with data science to prioritize R&D aligned to product vision.
- Partner with commercial and marketing teams to educate, socialize, and maximize product impact at launch.
- Collaborate with design/UX teams to ideate, test, and continually improve the user experience.
- Cross-collaborate with other product teams to ensure consistency in design principles and cohesive user workflows.
- Empower buyers with insights and optimizations needed to drive performance.
Requirements
- 7 + years of Product Management experience in advertising or related industry.
- Analytic or technical background with a proven ability to work in high-scale data environments.
- Experience in a fast-paced agile development environment.
- Proven ability to deliver high impact product functionality to stakeholder teams.
- Understanding of relevant issues in ad quality, data and user privacy.
- Experience in advertising technology with a broad understanding from publisher through advertiser client’s needs.
- Experience with external partner management and delivering on contractual agreements.
- Built and launched performance optimization products for agencies and advertisers in collaboration with a data science team (ideal).
- Ideally, worked at a DSP or buying platform directly serving agencies and advertisers.
- Significant experience partnering with data science to ideate and direct R&D work that guides or supplements the product roadmap.
- Significant experience partnering with design/UX teams to deliver delightful user experiences.
- Strong understanding of designing robust user workflows/customer journeys to support ideation and prioritization of UX features.
- Has a robust process for prototypes/testing/design iterations that reduces probability of failure/rework and improves the potential impact at launch.
- Ideally understands the needs and pain points of traders and ad ops personnel.
