About the role
- Report to OpenTable’s Senior Manager, Global Payroll and foster a culture of excellence and collaboration
- Ensure payroll is paid in a timely and accurate manner for multiple countries and frequencies
- Directly support (or provide backup for) payroll processing operations for multiple countries including US, Mexico, Canada, UK, Australia, India, Germany, France, Ireland, Lithuania, Switzerland, Singapore
- Calculate and report tax liabilities and perform periodic, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc balancing; validate payroll tax reporting and year-end forms
- Ensure full compliance with payroll-related matters and reporting requirements, collaborating with HR, Accounting, Finance Operations, Tax and Legal
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related queries and issues (vendor, compliance, reporting/accounting)
- Work with HR Operations to ensure payroll data integrations run smoothly and suggest enhancements and solutions
- Support projects, process improvements, and payroll audits
- Manage payroll service provider relationships
- Assist in creating payroll SOPs and calendars to document processes and meet deadlines
Requirements
- Demonstrable interest and knowledge of payroll and related HR/Payroll and Accounting systems
- Experience with Cloudpay, Netsuite, ADP Workforce and WorkDay preferred
- Professional payroll qualification (CPP or equivalent) and/or professional accounting qualification
- Preferred payroll experience with any of the following countries: United States, Mexico, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, India, Germany, France, Ireland, Lithuania, Switzerland, and Singapore
- 3+ years experience either in professional practice or in-house roles
- Proven ability to process payroll accurately and timely, and meet compliance requirements
