• You’ll build and lead a lean marketing function from the ground up, responsible for execution across:
• Brand Marketing – Strengthen awareness and positioning of the OP Stack and Superchain vision.
• Product Marketing – Translate technical capabilities into compelling, differentiated narratives.
• Developer Marketing – Engage the builder community through content, partnerships, and education.
• Enterprise Marketing – Craft GTM playbooks and demand generation for institutional adoption.

Blockchain Engineer

• Evolve our proof system to meet stage 2 requirements using ZK validity proofs and a multi-proof system
• Develop important Rust-based OP Stack infrastructure, and some Go-based infrastructure and tools
• Help keep the Superchain secure by improving our monitoring and automated response systems

Protocol Engineer

Technical Product Manager

• Own and deliver the vertical scaling roadmap (6-18 months+) for the OP Stack to drive scaling 10x-100x
• Partner closely with OP Labs and Optimism Collective engineering teams and L1 core developers to translate research into actionable plans
• Engage with chain operators, RaaS team, RPC providers, explorers and indexers, and proof teams to understand performance challenges and represent their needs
• Work with growth and marketing to communicate OP Stack scalability via dashboards, blog posts, talks, and ecosystem updates

Technical Product Manager, Protocol – Scaling

Product Manager

• Define and execute product strategy for fintech and exchange integrations, SDKs, and infrastructure
• Lead the Fintech & Exchange roadmap to help businesses embed onchain services into their platforms
• Build deep expertise in fintechs and exchanges and translate compliance, custody, and UX needs into products and partnerships

• Define and lead Optimism’s strategy for centralized exchanges end-to-end
• Identify high-leverage market entry points (e.g., stablecoin corridors, embedded finance use cases, B2B/B2C rails)
• Translate protocol advantages into compelling narratives tailored to centralized decision-makers
• Source, structure, and close high-impact partnerships with centralized exchanges
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and partner teams to ensure successful integration and onboarding
• Channel market feedback to influence roadmap decisions (e.g., compliance features, wallet UX, account abstraction)

• Develop and support the Rust-based components of the OP Stack alongside a strong team of protocol engineers committed to code quality and velocity

Senior Protocol Engineer, Rust

• Lead the Payments Roadmap: Define and execute the roadmap across products, integrations, and growth initiatives that drive payments adoption within the Optimism ecosystem. Key focus areas: payment service providers, stablecoin settlement, onramp/offramp orchestration, and ecosystem growth programs.
• Champion the Customer: Develop a deep understanding of the onchain payments ecosystem and the infrastructure PSPs need to succeed. Advocate for products, protocol features, and partnerships that create unique value for enterprise payment customers.
• Partner with the Ecosystem: Collaborate with ecosystem partners, including infrastructure providers, protocols, exchanges, and chains, to deliver solutions that lower the barrier for enterprises to adopt crypto rails.

• Roles and Responsibilities: We’re looking for an entrepreneurial, highly strategic Enterprise Sales Lead, Fintech to drive adoption of optimism across global fintech companies. You’ll be responsible for identifying, closing, and scaling high-impact partnerships with the largest fintechs in the world which are strategic to our growth strategy.
• This role is both strategic and executional. You’ll work directly with Optimism leadership, product, marketing, and partner engineering to shape new financial primitives that are only possible onchain.
• You will bring them to market through deep partnerships with the world’s most ambitious builders in fintech.
• What are the role responsibilities? • Drive product alignment: Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and partner teams to ensure successful integration and onboarding; Channel market feedback to influence roadmap decisions; Shape internal Optimism offerings to better meet fintech partner needs.
• Lead externally: Represent Optimism at industry events, fintech conferences, and global policy forums; Publish thought leadership on programmable money, composable compliance, and the future of payments infrastructure; Build and maintain strong relationships with ecosystem players.
• What skills do you bring? Experience: 10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or corporate development—ideally in fintech, crypto, or financial infrastructure; Proven track record of closing and scaling complex deals with payment platforms, neobanks, custodians, or embedded finance providers; Deep understanding of fintech infrastructure: wallets, custody, card issuing, stablecoins, compliance tooling, and developer platforms; Familiarity with crypto infrastructure—especially Ethereum, Layer 2s, and wallet abstraction concepts.
