Engineer

• Own the design and fabrication oversight of advanced reactor fuel handling system
• Build strong supplier partnerships and ensure vendors deliver high-quality hardware
• Develop technical specifications, statements of work and drawing packages for Refueling Equipment
• Support vendor deliverables aligning with overall project budget and schedule
• Manage vendor design development to meet plant requirements in compliance with codes, standards and regulations
• Perform technical review of design documents and drawings
• Work with vendors during manufacturing to execute deviation requests and report non-conformance
• Support document preparation for installation and system descriptions

Refueling Supplier Engineer

• Define equipment requirements and specifications for commercial off-the-shelf and custom-designed rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, and turbines.
• Identify key performance metrics and develop verification test plans for new equipment
• Work in cross disciplinary teams, including process engineering, instrumentation and control, power generation and distribution teams, and operations to integrate equipment into power plants and test facilities
• Work with external vendors on equipment analysis, design, procurement, and testing to ensure rotating equipment meet plant requirements
• Develop and document operations and maintenance plans for rotating equipment in the power plant
• Generate technical documentation to be included in regulatory filings and internal technical reports
• Become the responsible engineer for the development of a rotating equipment system

Rotating Equipment Engineer

Software Engineer

• Partnering closely with senior engineering product leaders to surface pain points and prioritize organizational improvements.
• Diagnosing root causes across process, tooling, ownership, communication, and cross‑team interfaces.
• Designing and implementing lightweight, scalable operating systems for planning, goal‑setting, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Building dashboards, summaries, and reporting that improve leadership visibility without creating busywork for engineers.
• Improving how engineering and product teams interface with each other and with non‑engineering groups.
• Ensuring engineering and product knowledge, decisions, and best practices are clearly documented and easy to access.
• Improving structure, standards, and usability of shared tools (e.g., Confluence, Jira, internal dashboards).
• Identifying opportunities to replace overly manual workflows with automation or improved tooling.
• Partnering with People Ops on engineering‑specific onboarding, growth frameworks, org changes, and performance processes.
• Working with Business Ops and Procurement to streamline budgeting, purchasing, and resource planning for engineering teams.
• Establishing effective meeting, calendar, and Slack practices that maximize clarity and minimize overhead.
• Coordinating high‑leverage engineering and product forums (e.g., offsites, design reviews, all‑hands) to ensure they are purposeful and well‑run.
