Instrumentation and Controls Engineer

• The Shielding Analysis Engineer is responsible for defining, developing, and executing radiation shielding and radiation transport analyses to support reactor design, plant layout, performance evaluation, and safety assurance
• This role involves working closely with the broader design team to solicit and capture requirements, establish the scope of shielding evaluations, and implement appropriate source term, activation, dose rate, streaming, and shielding models and methods
• Areas of analysis include, but are not limited to, radiation transport, material activation, source term development, dose assessment, and shielding design optimization
• The engineer will also support verification and validation activities and contribute to licensing and regulatory interactions by providing technically sound and defensible shielding analyses
• Perform the complete range of actions involved in supporting shielding design, radiation transport analysis, and dose assessment for using Monte Carlo and supporting codes on Oklo facilities
• Perform calculations and analyses in Monte Carlo based radiation transport codes such as MCNP, SCALE, OpenMC, and Serpent
• Perform source term, activation, streaming, skyshine, and dose-rate analyses using appropriate Monte Carlo and deterministic methods
• Support the qualification and verification of shielding analyses, including validation against experiments, benchmarks, and operationally relevant radiation measurements
• Be aware of and familiar with radiation shielding, radiation transport, and fast reactor core design and analysis work being performed internationally, as well as related benchmark calculations and experiments being performed internationally
• Provide technical feedback to quick-iterating design teams
• Document work using modern tools and techniques, and write well-written, thoughtful technical reports

Shielding Analysis Engineer

Designer

• Developing detailed mechanical designs, 3D CAD models, fabrication drawings, and prototype hardware supporting Oklo's first-of-a-kind nuclear fuel recycling technology.
• Translating engineering concepts into practical, manufacturable hardware.
• Creating production-quality CAD models and drawing packages for custom equipment.
• Collaborating closely with engineers, machinists, welders, and fabrication vendors to optimize designs for manufacturing, assembly, and maintenance.
• Supporting prototype fabrication by responding to shop questions, incorporating manufacturing feedback, and revising drawings as designs evolve.
• Participating in design reviews and contributing practical fabrication and assembly recommendations.

Senior Mechanical Designer – Fuel Recycling

• Developing and maintaining the engineering drawings that define Oklo's first-of-a-kind (FOAK) nuclear fuel recycling facility
• Creation and maintenance of Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), piping layouts, equipment arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and other engineering documentation
• Working closely with process, mechanical, electrical, controls, and systems engineers to translate engineering concepts into accurate, controlled engineering drawings
• Developing, revising, and maintaining Piping/Process/Ventilation & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) using AutoCAD, AutoCAD Plant3D or equivalent CAD software
• Producing piping layout drawings, equipment arrangement drawings, piping and equipment isometrics, and general arrangement drawings for process facilities
• Coordinating closely with process, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation & controls, structural, and nuclear engineers to ensure drawing consistency across disciplines
• Incorporating engineering changes into controlled drawing packages while maintaining revision history and configuration management
• Assisting with development of drawing standards, CAD libraries, drafting procedures, and document templates
• Performing drawing quality checks to identify inconsistencies, clashes, missing information, and opportunities for design improvement

• Play a key role in the execution and enhancement of Oklo’s SOX compliance program and internal control environment
• Help further mature the Internal Audit function by improving SOX documentation, including process narratives and flowcharts
• Execute the SOX program across multiple business process areas, including design and operating effectiveness testing
• Partner with process and control owners to identify practical solutions and assist management with remediation of internal control deficiencies
• Support a broad range of internal audit activities, including advisory engagements, operational reviews, integration initiatives, and other risk-based projects
• Manage internal audit activities, including planning, execution, and reporting; coordinate with internal/external auditors and government agencies

Document Specialist

• Manage controlled documents throughout their lifecycle by coordinating reviews and processing document approval, release, revision, supersession, cancellation, and obsolescence while ensuring document integrity and revision control
• Process incoming records through the records lifecycle by validating, classifying, indexing, and maintaining metadata while ensuring accurate filing, retention, retrieval, archival, and disposition
• Perform detailed quality control checks of controlled documents and records to verify completeness, accuracy, legibility, required approvals, document identifiers, revisions, formatting, metadata, and final acceptance requirements
• Maintain appropriate access permissions for controlled documents, records, and system users

• Recycling operations is responsible for the human, organizational, and operational effectiveness of Oklo’s Recycling Division.

• Own scalability and efficiency of the recycling division processes, including budgeting, purchasing, planning, and hiring.

Recycling Operations Manager

QA Engineer

• support planning, implementation, oversight, and closeout of project quality assurance activities for Oklo EPC, construction, internal procurement, procurement receipt, manufacturing, document control, records, turnover, and operations-readiness work.
• ensure project work is planned, documented, verified, and completed in accordance with Oklo standards, licensing commitments, quality assurance requirements, contractual obligations, safety expectations, and applicable site and regulatory requirements.
• translate NQA-1, DOE Order 414.1D, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B aligned quality principles, commercial grade dedication expectations, procurement quality requirements, and project-specific requirements into practical execution plans.
• serve as a key quality coordination and oversight point between Oklo, EPC contractors, vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and internal stakeholders including Engineering, Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Construction, Project Controls, Quality Assurance, Document Control, Records Management, Safety, Security, Regulatory, and Operations teams.
