• Produce accurate management information and insightful reports that enable informed decision-making and support operational performance.
• Build trusted relationships with the Practice Manager, Senior Lawyers and wider stakeholders, providing expert advice and acting as the first point of contact for system and process-related matters.
• Lead the training and onboarding of new and existing colleagues, ensuring staff have the knowledge and confidence to use systems and processes effectively.
• Maintain and develop the department's SharePoint sites, intranet and digital resources, ensuring information remains accurate, accessible and up to date.
• Support recruitment, and onboarding and departmental planning, helping to build an engaged, capable and well-equipped team.
• Contribute to change and improvement projects embedding new ways of working and helping shape the future development of Joint Legal Services.

Practice Team Leader – Joint Legal Services

• Support the roving detained property and crime filing supervisor in maintaining the local detained property and crime filing holding stores.
• Oversee the temporary storage and transfer of detained property and crime files within LPAs.
• Collaborate with Facilities Management in the disposal of flammable and hazardous substances.
• Transfer of detained property, crime files and tapes to Central Store.
• Preparing detained property, crime files and tapes for transport and external storage.

General

• Deliver the College of Policing Trainer Development Essentials Programme (TEP).
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve learning quality and compliance.
• Produce meaningful reports and management information that support decision-making at all levels.
