About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and develop the Business Support Team, creating a positive, high-performing environment through coaching, performance management and continuous development.
- Act as the department's superuser for the Legal Case Management System, ensuring it remains secure, effective and continuously evolves to meet the needs of the service.
- Drive improvements to systems, workflows and business processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency, enhance service delivery and support innovation across Joint Legal Services.
- Produce accurate management information and insightful reports that enable informed decision-making and support operational performance.
- Build trusted relationships with the Practice Manager, Senior Lawyers and wider stakeholders, providing expert advice and acting as the first point of contact for system and process-related matters.
- Lead the training and onboarding of new and existing colleagues, ensuring staff have the knowledge and confidence to use systems and processes effectively.
- Maintain and develop the department's SharePoint sites, intranet and digital resources, ensuring information remains accurate, accessible and up to date.
- Support recruitment, and onboarding and departmental planning, helping to build an engaged, capable and well-equipped team.
- Contribute to change and improvement projects embedding new ways of working and helping shape the future development of Joint Legal Services.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Leading and developing teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
- Managing business systems, producing management information and using data to support decision-making.
- Driving continuous improvement and successfully implementing change that enhances service delivery.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to build strong relationships and achieve shared objectives.
- Working within a legal practice or legal services environment and/or administrating a legal case management system.
