About the role
- Manages multiple software development teams with a keen focus on delivering business value
- Runs technical team and project meetings to drive projects forward by focusing on next actions
- Oversees and guides project planning, capacity planning and participates in roadmap planning
- Understands and conveys the importance of the work being done and instills a sense of urgency
- Proactively identifies, and then either resolves or escalates, potential problems, issues or risks
- Owns all communication related to the project, both within the team and with the organization
- Demonstrates an attitude of team focus to accomplish overall project goals, maintains a ‘we’re all in this together’ approach
- Removes obstacles or develops a plan of action for difficulties that arise
- Contributes to overall project success and supports other assigned tasks as necessary

- Communicates effectively, written, verbal, structured and unstructured to keep all the stakeholders in the loop on project status

Requirements
- BS/BA in related field or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
- 2-3 years previous experience in software development project management
- Strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail
- Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills
- Experience working with global teams in varying time zones and remote locations
- Ability to accomplish goals by managing and influencing individuals to meet deadlines on time
- Proven experience implementing standard project management and SDLC methodologies and best practices
- Ability to juggle multiple projects and tasks; demonstrated knowledge of project management concepts and techniques
- Familiarity with technical IT topics including programming, networking, webservers and VMWare would be beneficial
- Experience using Slack, Jira, and Confluence
- Willing to work non-traditional hours (nights, weekends, holidays, as needed)
- Strong knowledge in the G Suite of products: Gmail, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides
- Comfortability or experience working on a Mac machine
