Work closely with team members, risk management and operations groups, and OCC’s participant exchanges to oversee clearance of options and futures trading activity
Responsible for maintenance to OCC’s product masterfiles
Verify intraday options and futures trade data received from participant exchanges
Monitor SOSA processing from the exchanges
Monitor a group hotline and ensure functional performance during the trading day
Serve as customer service contact for 18 options and 1 futures exchange
Analyze participant exchange requests on contract listing activities including adds to existing products and creation of new products
Respond to exchange inquiries regarding trade processing and product status
Scrutinize current practices and assist in the creation of more efficient solutions
Ensure compliance with departmental policies and procedures
Accurately process product masterfile updates and assist with daily production duties
Perform research requests related to trade activity and maintain daily masterfile statistics
Monitor inbound files to OCC and ensure complete processing and valid data
Verify and balance intraday trade activity; research pended or rejected trades
Perform daily checks to ensure OCC systems are operating correctly
Assist in reviewing and providing edits to departmental procedures and job aids
Confirm that departmental controls are executing correctly as part of a quarterly self-testing initiative

Requirements

[Required] Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a related field
[Required] 0-3 years of experience in a related position
