About the role
- Utilize a home office to support the Whole Foods Market (WFM) account while based in the greater Austin, TX area
- Pull, analyze, and share routine reporting from the WFM Supplier Portal, including average pricing, voids, and ad hoc requests
- Maintain, update, and distribute trackers in accordance with established workflows; coordinate with content owners to ensure accuracy and timely reporting
- Serve as a liaison between the WFM team and internal Business Intelligence team, coordinating requests and ensuring smooth flow of information
- Maintain key aspects of internal WFM digital systems (e.g. SharePoint) and audit select external systems like the WFM .coms for accuracy and updates
- Regularly update core files such as brand lists, APLs, store lists, and WFM reference documents
- Audit and organize master files and trackers on a recurring basis to uphold accuracy and efficiency
- Plan and coordinate weekly team meetings and quarterly in-person working sessions
- Assist with onboarding and training of new team members and provide occasional coverage for teammates during PTO
- Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on WFM priorities and deliverables and support special projects (Monthly Focus, Expo planning, Supplier Showcase, reporting initiatives)
- Contribute to departmental projects, adapt to shifting needs, and take ownership of new tasks as directed by leadership
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience in operations, administration, and/or data/reporting roles
- Prior experience in CPG, grocery, or food/beverage industries strongly preferred
- Experience supporting national or HQ-level accounts is a plus, preferably WFM
- College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and skills
- Ability to lift 25+ lbs for occasional sample handling and event support
- Ability to attend quarterly team meetups, meet required volunteering hours, and visit WFM Austin HQ as needed
- Highly motivated, proactive, and adaptable with a solutions-oriented mindset
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and confident learning new systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships across teams and external partners
- Ability to thrive in a remote environment through active participation in virtual meetings and collaboration platforms (Teams, email, etc.)
