Achieve annual sales goals through various sales tactics
Routinely make sales calls with key account representatives, crop consultants and other key territory stakeholders
Prepare an annual strategic plan outlining new growth opportunities
Forecast annual sales targets per product in respective territory
Work closely with distribution management and sales teams to support, influence, monitor and drive sales
Provide marketing and agronomic information to support the proper positioning of Loveland products
Serve as a primary technical resource on all Loveland products and cropping systems within designated area
Sell Loveland portfolio and technology benefits to sales teams and grower customers
Deliver outstanding customer service by solving problems and creating solutions
Advise growers and crop advisors on using Loveland products to improve plant health, crop yield, and profitability
Coordinate and collaborate with technical resources and key sales stakeholders to build product confidence
Develop marketing support strategies, product positioning, presentations, and technical support as needed
Interpret analytical data, like soil tests, to support and drive Loveland technology sales and adoption
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in agronomy, chemistry, plant science, agriculture, or other related fields
6+ years of experience required; preferably in all aspects of developing and maintaining sales activities, marketing strategies, and customer services in the crop input industry
A strong industry network in the agriculture space
Ability to work irregular hours as needed, including, but not limited to early morning, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Extensive motor vehicle travel is necessary
Frequent out of state travel is required
Travel may require overnight stay(s)
