About the role
- Monitor and analyze global market trends and emerging demands
- Design and develop innovative, customer-centric pumping, grinding and screening equipment solutions
- Optimize new and existing product designs to reduce costs and enhance production efficiency
- Perform comprehensive engineering analyses, including FEA and manual calculations
- Create and review detailed mechanical engineering documentation
- Ensure all deliverables meet company policies and regulatory compliance standards
- Actively participate in internal design reviews with commercial awareness
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation
- Follow established checking, approval, and Engineering Change Procedures
- Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve engineering inquiries in a timely manner
- Collaborate with global commercial and manufacturing teams to convert client requirements into profitable solutions
- Work under the mentorship/guidance of the Engineering Manager
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (required)
- 5 years of industry experience (preferred, open to candidates with fewer years)
- 3D CAD Software proficiency, SolidWorks experience preferred
- Strong mechanical engineering foundation with solid calculation capabilities
- Design for Manufacture, Assembly, and Maintenance expertise
- Experience collaborating with manufacturing engineers
- Rotating equipment/machinery design experience preferred
- Industry materials expertise (steel manufactured parts, rubber/elastomer injection molded parts)
- Microsoft Office Suite proficiency (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- English language proficiency at B2/C1 level (reading, writing, speaking)
- Regulatory standards understanding desirable: Machinery (Safety) Directive, PED, ATEX, REACH
- ERP experience preferred: JDE/Teamcenter
