About the role
- Help design through deploy our corporate IT stack - from network services and storage to virtualization and MDF/IDF operations - so everything just works for our teammates
- Keep systems humming day to day: install, configure, monitor, document, and automate across our IT infrastructure
- Coach and mentor members of the IT support team so everyone can do their best work
- Jump in on tactical escalations and bring issues to a clear, timely resolution
- Continually review our environment and propose pragmatic improvements that boost performance, reliability, and scalability as we grow globally
- Share knowledge with the broader IT team and run trainings to help the whole org level up
- Support office buildouts and expansions, including occasional travel to our global locations
- Nurture vendor relationships with ISPs, data circuit providers, low‑voltage cablers, and security systems integrators
- Handle hands‑on hardware work as needed, including installing and maintaining equipment, and safely lifting up to 50lbs to heights of up to 6ft
Requirements
- 7+ years configuring and maintaining corporate infrastructure end to end: network and security, configuration management, virtualization (IaaS/AWS), and on‑prem hardware supporting global office locations
- You're comfortable at the command line on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and you design and build MDF/IDF infrastructure with care for power, cooling, and monitoring
- You're network‑hardware savvy with Aruba, Juniper, Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, and other major vendors, and have a strong foundation in protocols, models, and core networking concepts
- You design and implement AV backends for large‑scale internal company events
- You keep systems healthy with monitoring tools like NMS, ELK Stack, MRTG, Nagios, Splunk, Cacti, and Syslog
- You script and automate in Python, PowerShell, or similar, and bring identity and access expertise across Directory Services (AD, LDAP), RADIUS, SAML, PKI, and PAM
- You're curious, collaborative, and detail‑oriented, with strong communication skills and a pragmatic security mindset
- You build productive partnerships with ISPs and technology vendors
