💰 $110,300 - $165,500 per year
About the role
- Plan and execute the program lifecycle, including major program milestones/reviews (SRR, SFR, SDR, PDR, CDR, SVR, TRR, peer reviews, Pre-test reviews, Post Test Reviews, Pre-Ship reviews, etc.)
- Ensure system technical compliance with the program Statement of Work (SOW) and system requirements
- Manage the vertical and horizontal technical integration throughout the product teams and program life cycle, collaborating across an entire portfolio of programs
- Collect, manage, and report the program metrics and Technical Performance Measures (TPMs)
- Manage risk and opportunity and the production of core engineering work products and track the work products and associated program dependencies in the program schedule
- Coordinate between the System Architect(s), Chief Engineer(s), Product Team Lead(s), program manager(s), and customers to ensure the integrity and executability of the program technical baseline
- Support Advanced Technology development programs
- Serve on-site in the greater Baltimore, MD area
- Position may be filled as Principal or Senior Principal Systems Engineer - Integration & Test
- Position is contingent upon acquiring and maintaining the necessary US Government security clearance per customers’ requirements prior to start
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 5 years of experience (Principal) or 8 years (Senior Principal)
- Master's degree in a STEM discipline with 3 years of experience (Principal) or 6 years (Senior Principal)
- PhD in a STEM discipline with 1 year of experience (Principal) or 4 years (Senior Principal)
- Demonstrated experience with Systems Development Lifecycle - Focus on SRR to CDR
- Demonstrated experience in systems development, integration, and test
- Demonstrated Requirements Management from Elicitation to Verification
- Demonstrated experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (SysML/MBSE)
- Risk and Opportunity Management experience
- Experience leading technical teams
- U.S. citizen required
- Current Active DoD Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI and a Polygraph prior to start
- Travel: Yes, 10% of the Time
- Preferred: Knowledge of Systems Engineering processing from generation of an Integrated Master Plan (IMP) to Work Product Breakdown into Integrated Master Schedules (IMS)
- Preferred: Experience working with CAMEO or other similar MBSE management tools
- Preferred: Master’s degree or PhD in STEM or technical management
- Preferred: Understanding of DoD systems engineering requirements (e.g., UAF, DoDAF)
- Preferred: Multi-Disciplinary Engineering exposure (Software, Hardware, Electrical) and strong ability to communicate cross functionally
- Preferred: Experience managing contracts of $10M+
