About the role
- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems
- Analyses at all levels of total system product: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications
- Maintain existing operations procedures up-to-date to also include lessons learned from real-time performance
- Develop new procedures as required
- Interface with program and customer personnel
- Support a program out of the Aurora, CO location; strong understanding of software development required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other STEM related degree with 2 years of relevant experience
- 0 years of relevant experience with a Master's
- Must have an active Top Secret/SCI clearance at the time of application
- Willingness to sit for a polygraph
- Cameo knowledge
- Software systems design experience
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with decomposing Element requirements to Subsystem
- Experience with acceptance criteria creation
- Preferred: Active TS/SCI with poly
- Preferred: Experience with Model Base Systems Engineering (MBSE) and CAMEO tools
- TRAVEL: Yes, 10% of the Time
- U.S. Citizenship required for positions with a government clearance
