About the role
- As a Physical Science Intelligence Analyst, you use your specialized scientific or engineering experience and attention to detail to develop all-source intelligence reports to give clients actionable intelligence and context.
Serve as a technical analyst on topics including toxic industrial chemicals, rocket fuels, agriculture, nuclear chemistry, fiber optics, semiconductors, lasers, or other weapon material.
Research, analyze, and evaluate classified and open-source intelligence, identify intelligence gaps, and produce detailed all-source assessments and products.
Provide time-critical recommendations and collaborate with cross-functional teams; mentor and learn new skills and tools to support customers.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with chemistry, physics, or engineering for DoD and Intelligence Community initiatives
Knowledge of intelligence tools, databases, and production
Knowledge of missile systems and components
Ability to research, collect, analyze, synthesize, and communicate chemistry, physics, or engineering-related data for use by non-scientific audiences
Ability to work with a team or independently to produce high-quality written deliverables
TS / SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree in a physical science field, such as Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering
Nice If You Have: Experience supporting disciplines such as fiber optics, acoustics, semiconductors, lasers, development and testing, or chemical engineering
Knowledge of defense industries
Knowledge of IC, DoD, and analytic tradecraft standards
TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
