Solutions Engineer

• Provide remote and onsite consulting and implementation services to members around product utilization and best practices.
• Analyze internal data to prioritize opportunities effectively and provide a plan.
• Perform research and data analysis on Member’s product use to better deliver more value to underutilized products or best practices.
• Develop and deliver software training to internal and external stakeholders as needed.
• Coordinate and present at related workshops and industry related events as needed.
• Build tools to help support the needs assessment of our Membership and how they utilize NISC’s solutions.
• Influence and gain Member interest around implementing new product functionality and/or best practices.
• May be asked to record walk through product trainings and recordings with the internal Learning Center.
• General expectation is primary focus is within one to multiple products within one to multiple industries.
• Maintain an in-depth level understanding of product integrations.
• Execute special projects with a moderate to high degree of difficulty with independence as needed or requested.
• May be asked to help participate in NISC’s Member Information Conference, Advisory Meetings and other related events.
• May be asked to mentor others.
• Proactively engage internal departments and leadership on industry trends related to product road maps and direction.
• May provide strategic input to internal and external senior level leaders around product utilization.
• Serve as onsite champion and change manager for Member product initiatives.
• Low to Moderate level amounts of travel required.

Electrical Engineer

• Design and build responsive desktop applications specifically for electrical engineering applications, ensuring that solutions are robust and scalable.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product managers, quality assurance, and support staff—to research, design, and implement new features tailored to electrical engineering needs.
• Research, analyze, and resolve moderately complex customer issues and bugs related to electrical engineering applications.
• Perform unit testing and integration testing of code to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Adhere to established software development methodologies and procedures, and continuously seek to improve development practices.

Account Manager

• Use industry expertise and software knowledge to develop and advance Account Managers’ market approach and knowledge, specifically within the Utility and Multi-Service markets.
• Ensure Account Managers are familiar with products and updates.
• Advocate NISC’s strategy and culture among the Membership.
• Attend and present on various Member-focused topics at events as needed.
• Facilitate a collaborative team through consistent methodologies and processes.
• Conduct regular weekly one-on-ones with each team member.
• Maintain accurate records of all team member interactions utilizing OneNote, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365.
• Manage clerical and daily administrative responsibilities (timesheets, expense reports, etc.).
• Identify high-impact Member issues and work across divisions to ensure NISC’s Membership is receiving high-quality service.
• Assist with Member challenges and questions, participate in calls as needed, and ensure the team is facilitating assistance for Members.
• Serve as a conduit between Account Managers, fellow Team Leads, and NISC projects and initiatives.
• Support internal and external communications related to NISC initiatives and Account Manager contributions.
• Educate the team regarding changes within the utility industry and market.
• Collaboratively and effectively work across teams and departmental leadership to accomplish goals and objectives.
• Engage in and support organizational activities and objectives.
• Demonstrate commitment to NISC’s Statement of Shared Values.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
