About the role

  • Covering North Carolina and Virginia; develop and maintain relationships with dealers, dealer sales force, direct accounts, and end users Achieve annual sales and performance goals and report to Regional Sales Director Report monthly itinerary and significant region activity; perform quarterly dealer business reviews and weekly sales forecasts Resolve sales, product service, equipment-related, and dealer issues; travel within sales region per zone schedule Direct and train dealer sales force to sell Advance, Clarke, and Viper equipment; maintain dealer prospect list and customer database Maintain list of largest end-users; integrate activities into Salesforce.com; make daily sales calls on key end-users and track project starts in Sales Pipeline Perform building surveys, product demonstrations, use sales tools, displace competitors, develop single-source dealer relationships Communicate product information to dealers; coordinate with National Account Managers and Government Account Managers; perform field tests; forge long-lasting profitable dealer relationships

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent education A Minimum of 5 years sales experience in the sanitary supply industry or in a related industry Experience and accomplishments in dealer channel management and end-user sales/account management Strong work ethic and initiative in problem solving and implementing corrective action plans Maturity as a business professional and business acumen Strong selling skills and end-user account management skills Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in MS Office Suite including Excel (pivot tables), PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Salesforce.com Effective time and territory management skills Solid problem-solving skills, gap analyses, action plan development, and implementation Willingness to travel overnight as required Ability to transport company products for demonstrations Capable of conducting product seminars and presentations Ability to pass a physical including lifting and prolonged standing.
