Prepare and revise corporate documents and commercial agreements, including share and asset purchase agreements, investment and shareholders’ agreements, JV agreements, service-level agreements, general terms and conditions, company policies, procedures, plans, and programs
Survey licensing and/or registration requirements applicable to Nexo’s business activity in multiple jurisdictions
Handle employment and other related legal issues
Address general or ad-hoc legal queries from members of Nexo's team
Supervise junior legal counsels, if required
Work closely with and report to the Head of Legal & Regulatory Compliance to assess applicable requirements and ensure compliance
Work in close cooperation and actively communicate with regional legal counsels and regulators
Assess and mitigate regulatory risks and advise on how new regulations will impact products and expansion plans
Requirements
Master’s degree in law
Strong academic record
Minimum relevant professional experience in a corporate environment of more than 7 years
Experience in corporate, commercial, and employment law
Experience in compliance, financial and banking services
Any experience in cryptocurrencies and blockchain is a strong advantage
Experience in supervising junior team members
Proficiency in English
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to comprehend how new regulations will impact Nexo’s products and expansion plans
Ability to assess and mitigate regulatory risks
Ability to solve complex problems and apply interdisciplinary thinking
