Sales Development Rep

• Work across Newsela’s Sales organization to support aggressive growth by researching, prospecting through calls and emails, and qualifying leads in order to build pipeline for Sales Reps.

• Own the development of the quarterly demand generation strategy from end-to-end, including channel and audience selection and alignment to our marketing KPIs and revenue targets.
• Drive impact by proactively executing a variety of demand generation activations, including webinars, content, paid media, direct mail, events, industry sponsorships and email nurture campaigns.

Senior Demand Generation Marketing Manager

Marketing

• Collaborate with Field & Account-Based Marketing Manager to support quarterly field marketing plans, market responsive requests, and events for priority local markets
• Execute state-specific and regional lead generation campaigns using various channels such as custom landing pages, webinars, digital marketing, direct mail, and in-person events with the support of Field & Account-Based Marketing Manager.

• You’ll employ solution-based selling techniques and solution mapping, along with your strong negotiation and closing skills, to ensure school board preparation and approval.
• You’ll create and maintain an aggressive pipeline, and will build and adjust strategic account plans for key accounts to move each account through the sales cycle.
• In your day to day, you will do everything from pipeline creation, pipeline management and forecasting to designing lead generation campaigns and managing sales through the entire lifecycle while collaborating closely with other departments.
• You will be well-versed in your territory’s funding, state initiatives, demographics, and K-12 education landscape, which will help inform your overall sales strategy.
