Payroll

• Process bi-weekly payroll for ESS employees, ensuring 100% accuracy and timeliness.
• Research, calculate, and process prevailing wage rates for applicable employees, including complex calculations for fringe benefits, overtime, and apprentice scales.
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Utilize advanced Excel functions to manage payroll records, wage adjustments, and labor cost analysis.
• Ensure full compliance with all payroll-related laws, including tax withholding, garnishments, and benefits contributions.
• Assist with reconciling payroll accounts and ensuring data integrity between payroll and accounting systems.
• Collaborate with HR and management to address employee payroll inquiries and resolve complex wage issues.
• Stay updated on changes to prevailing wage laws, tax regulations, and reporting requirements.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary payroll documentation, Excel-based reports, and compliance logs.
• Act as the primary point-of-contact for Client Compliance team requests and deliverables.

Prevailing Wage, Payroll Associate

Operations

• Responsible for performing advanced inspections, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting on solar energy systems.
• Work independently and provide guidance to junior technicians to ensure safe and efficient operation of solar power plants.
• Lead by example in promoting a safe working environment.
• Perform comprehensive inspections of solar energy systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
• Conduct advanced preventative maintenance tasks, such as infrared thermography, insulation resistance testing, and IV curve tracing.
• Independently diagnose and troubleshoot system issues.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs with little oversight.
• Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Able to travel on short notice and be available during non-traditional working hours, with up to 50% travel required at times.

Solar Operations and Maintenance Technician, Level 2

• Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety policies and procedures
• Review and ensure correct PPE is available and being used properly
• Create PLOTO and LOTO Switch plans for approval
• Work leader for Pre Job-Brief, Job Safety Analysis, Personal LOTO, and switch plan LOTO
• Lead comprehensive inspections of solar power plants
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs
• Supervise and train junior technicians on inspection and maintenance procedures
• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex system issues, including grid integration and communication problems
• Utilize advanced diagnostic tools and software to diagnose and address system performance issues
• Develop and implement corrective action plans
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of inspections, maintenance, and repairs
• Prepare technical reports and presentations for management
• Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians
• Contribute to the development of training materials and procedures
