About the role

Design and implement complex Salesforce solutions
Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members
Lead customers on process, business and technical challenges ensuring scalable, standard methodology solutions
Act as lead architect by coordinating and aligning work of multiple architects and consultants
Align with project and engagement managers, partners and internal stakeholders to support planning and implementation
Understand and present high-level overviews of Salesforce functionality and features
Perform hands-on application configuration and customization to meet customer needs
Manage, lead and govern technical development on the platform and in project/programme delivery
Develop and maintain technical documentation including solution architecture, technical design, and test plans
Provide support for production issues, including root cause analysis and resolution

In-depth knowledge of implementing Salesforce solutions
Extensive experience in the assessment of business objectives and formulating solution options
Experience with software implementation lifecycle and ability to support project planning
Understand customer's processes and connect business requirements with functional and technical capabilities
5+ years of experience working on deployment teams (ideally using Agile development technique)
Direct and hands-on experience working with Salesforce products
Direct and hands-on experience working with MuleSoft
Excellent communication skills across a variety of audiences and situations
Ability to coach and influence internal and customer partners and project members
Available to travel regionally and occasionally internationally depending on customer needs
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
At least 5 years of experience in Salesforce consulting, development and architecture
Salesforce certification(s) such as Certified Solution Architect (B2B or B2C) or a wide range of Salesforce cloud certifications
Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture including custom development, integrations, and data migration
Strong understanding of MuleSoft platform and integration process/strategy with Salesforce and other platforms
Experience working in an Agile development environment
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
