About the role

  • Serve as the key HRBP for our Field Engineering Org globally
  • Act as a partner to the business by advising on best practices and supporting development and implementation of innovative and strategic people strategies and initiatives
  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR
  • Monitor the "pulse" of employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement
  • Maintain in depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees and partner with Legal as needed
  • Provide counsel and guidance on complex employee relations situations
  • Serve as one of the senior HR Partners across the company, helping to drive the transformation of the People team
  • Build relationships and focus on the missions and objectives set forth by the organization
  • Partner closely with people managers on employee engagement and development, performance management, career progression, change management and total rewards
  • Support implementation of company-wide people initiatives (performance reviews, engagement surveys, employee events) through communication, coaching and guidance of team leads and line managers
  • Collaborate with the global People team to champion and accelerate a culture of excellence in which people feel valued and inspired to do their best work at Neo4j.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years in an HR role within a fast-paced organization (ideally in the tech sector)
  • At least 3+ years in a business partner/employee relations position
  • Past experience with growth and departmental transformation in a Go To Market organization
  • Strong communicator with the ability to prioritize and be hands-on
  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills and ability to influence colleagues at all levels
  • In depth knowledge of HR practices and initiatives, including local employment laws and regulations
  • Ability to work in ambiguity and knowing when to ask for assistance
  • Effective analytical thinking, problem solving and decision making skills
  • Experience using data to influence decision making outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative, flexible and adapt to a company’s evolving stages and needs
  • Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement.
