About the role

  • Act as a strategic advisor to leadership, guiding performance management, employee relations, and talent development
  • Gain in-depth knowledge of Irby’s roles, personnel, and business strategy
  • Collaborate across departments and geographies to align HR strategies with business goals
  • Partner closely with Talent Acquisition and hiring managers to attract top talent through best practices in recruiting, onboarding, compensation, and workforce planning
  • Facilitate training on HR topics including leadership development and performance management
  • Support management in investigating and resolving employee relations matters with professionalism and care
  • Analyze HR metrics to inform decisions and develop impactful policies and programs
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws and partner with Legal to mitigate risks
  • Champion corporate initiatives and communicate their value to field teams
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in HR systems (ATS, Payroll, Benefits, Core HR)

Requirements

  • 4+ years of strategic HR Generalist or Business Partner experience
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and HR compliance
  • Proven ability to foster strong, trust-based relationships across all levels of the organization
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently
  • Experience in employee relations, performance management, and HR investigations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
