About the role
- Lead and scale the engineering organization, establishing a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and rapid delivery
- Partner with the CTO and founders to define technical roadmap and make architecture decisions around infrastructure, platform stability, and resourcing
- Own end-to-end engineering execution from sprint planning to production deployments, ensuring quality feature delivery
- Implement best practices for code quality, testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and incident response while balancing speed with reliability
- Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and Customer Success to translate business needs into technical solutions that drive revenue
- Oversee development of robust infrastructure for AI agents and AI systems scalability
Requirements
- 5+ years of engineering experience with 2+ years leading and scaling engineering teams (10+ engineers)
- Proven track record architecting and operating production systems at scale
- Comfortable with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and balancing technical debt with shipping velocity
- Demonstrated ability to recruit, mentor, and retain exceptional engineering talent while building inclusive, high-performing teams
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, from board members to enterprise customers
