About the role
- Design intuitive, elegant, and impactful eCommerce experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.
- Collaborate closely with developers, strategists, and project managers throughout project lifecycle.
- Define and maintain design systems and visual guidelines to ensure consistency.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to validate design solutions.
- Lead design initiatives that transform online shopping experiences and drive client business growth.
- Elevate Nebulab’s design culture through workshops, mentorship, and sharing best practices.
- Contribute to positioning Nebulab as a go-to agency for exceptional eCommerce experiences.
- Onboard in first 3 months, contribute to smaller design tasks, and integrate with team.
- 3-6 months: take ownership of complete UX/UI flows, work directly with clients, introduce new design ideas.
- 6-12 months: fully own major design projects end-to-end, mentor junior designers, and define design standards and systems.
Requirements
- Senior-level UX/UI Designer (role listed as Senior).
- Passion for crafting high-quality user experiences and eCommerce.
- Effective communication with teammates and clients.
- Inclusive, community-driven mindset; eager to learn and share knowledge.
- Solid experience with Figma and other prototyping tools.
- Optional: Familiarity with design systems and component libraries.
- Optional: Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS and experience collaborating with developers.
- Optional: Past experience in eCommerce or consulting.
- Optional: Familiarity with Shopify, Hydrogen, or other modern frameworks.
