Work closely with cross-functional development teams, UX/UI peers, and product management to gather requirements based on business and technical specifications
Craft intuitive user flows, wireframes, prototypes, storyboards, mockups, and high-fidelity designs using the latest design tools
Collaborate to ensure the technical feasibility of all UX/UI designs, while producing responsive and accessible layouts that meet user needs
Solve real business problems as part of an agile delivery team
Pair with a mentor to learn and grow your designer skillset
Participate in a community service project as part of internship opportunities
Requirements
Working towards a Bachelor or Associate degree with an emphasis in one of the following areas: Computer Science; Graphic, Interactive, or Visual design
Proficiency in UX/UI Design Tools: Experience with industry-standard design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or other tools for creating wireframes, prototypes, and designs
Responsive and Accessible Design: Ability to create designs that are both responsive across various devices and platforms, and compliant with accessibility standards (WCAG)
Collaboration and Communication: Ability to work in cross-functional teams and effectively communicate complex design concepts to non-designers, including stakeholders and developers
Front-End Development Knowledge: Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
