Manage all aspects of daily processes with Operations team.
Mentor, coach, and encourage Operations staff, including oversight of individual performance and development progress.
Clearly establish and communicate the Operations Team vision.
Assist team with the implementation of new processes to decrease costs, increase timeliness, and/or reduce risk.
Maintain metrics and information used for preparation of various management reports.
Monitor team to ensure established contractual time frames of daily processes are met.
Assist team members with questions regarding systems, procedures, processes, and problem resolution.
Work with other managers to make certain commitments to clients, sponsors, and participants are delivered.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five (5) years' related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Demonstrated leadership experience preferred
Must be able to set and clearly communicate an attainable vision for the operations team and direct the team toward achieving daily, quarterly, and annual goals.
Must also be able to coach and mentor team members to grow in individual skills and abilities.
Must be able to work with a group of managers to effectively oversee the day-to-day operations across the company, resolving cross-team issues and improving cross-team communication and procedures.
Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions.
Must have advanced knowledge of the procedures and tools used within the operations team.
Must also have a general understanding of the laws pertaining to record-keeping retirement plans.
